Included on new Wild Goose Evolution Series and Gosling canning lines, our Multiflow technology helps operators fill beverages with carbonation levels up to 3.1 CO₂ volumes. Developed through extensive laboratory testing and validated through a year of market operation in businesses packaging a wide array of beverages, Multiflow gives you more flexibility in the styles of drinks packaged on your machine.

Multiflow works by automatically regulating the flow of liquid to maintain stable filling conditions. Wild Goose systems incorporate low- and high-flow fill stages to maximize fill speed while controlling turbulent filling. The Multiflow valve design smoothly automates the delicate transitions between flow rate stages to manage breakout of CO₂ that can create excessive foaming and inconsistent fill volumes. Through fluid Multiflow transitions, your Wild Goose system can deliver repeatable fills with a high-quality, small-bubble foam cap to minimize dissolved oxygen pickup.

 

Operators can set their preferred Multiflow settings at startup and let Multiflow manage flow stage transitions automatically, with minimal operator intervention required while running. If product pressure or temperature changes during canning, Multiflow helps you respond to prevent breakout, conserve product and avoid low-fills or over-fills.

A majority of carbonated beverages on the market – including beer, cider, kombucha, and even seltzer or cocktails – fall within a range of 2.4 to 2.8 CO₂ volumes and can be packaged comfortably on an inline filling system. Traditionally, higher carbonation drinks above 2.8 CO₂ volumes – think soda or sparkling wine – might require the use of a counter pressure canning system. Counter pressure systems work by pressurizing the can to control breakout of high levels of CO₂ during filling, but generally come with higher costs, increased maintenance, and slower speeds. Multiflow offers you the ability to expand beverage styles and increase carbonation levels on your Wild Goose inline system while keeping machinery costs and maintenance low.

 

Multiflow filling technology is standard on new Wild Goose Evolution Series and Gosling canning lines. Multiflow is also available as a retrofit option for existing Evolution Series systems.
